[music |Last Kiss- Skamikazee]

I like playing bass guitar. I might eventually buy one.. but for now i'm happy renting the mexican fender precision i'm using at the upcoming variety night. I like being able to play multiple instrumets even tho they're basically the same and i picked up bass in about an hour. The other good thing about being the bassist is the thousands of scene points you gain especially while wearing aviators.
WEEZER CONCERT ON FRIDAY!

[music |Supernothing - Catch 22]

Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun.

Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.

This planet has — or rather had — a problem, which was this: most of the people on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.

And so the problem remained; lots of the people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches.

Many were increasingly of the opinion that they'd all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that even the trees had been a bad move, and that no one should ever have left the oceans.

And then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, one girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in Rickmansworth suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right, it would work, and no one would have to get nailed to anything.

Sadly, however, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terribly stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever.

This is not her story.

Isn't that the best Prologue ever? The movie better be awesome tomorrow or i'll be bitter for a week...

[music |Out Loud - Dispatch]

Wednesday's done.. its usually my least favourite day because i need to do so much stuff but today it was pretty good.. I chilled with Lisa at Lawrence Park.. Lol we always tend to end up there after walking from eglington but it's all good. It was pretty warm, the sun was shining, i was happy. Tomorrow is thursday which is a good relaxing day and then my favourite of all days.. Friday! Friday is the best especially when spent drinking, smoking weed (usually during darkside), being reckless and random, or just chillin and jamming with good friends... this friday is Hitchiker's guide the movie which i'm going to with a towel (if you've read the books you'd get it... AND YES I'M A COMPLETE NERD... just not the Star Wars or LOTR kind). If the movie is dissapointing though... i'll be devastated but meh you can't win every day.

Yeh.. [Apr. 25th, 2005|04:37 pm]
[mood | apathetic]
[music |Sunsets - Powderfinger]

School is not the place to spend your youth. I say drop out at 12 and pick up a dead end job to help support your drug habits. And then you won't have to worry about retiring cause you'll be dead of heroin overdose by the time your 25.... Alright new plan, i'll stick with school but they need to make it less boring.. they should have extreme sports class or something where you have a year end trip to take out your excess energy and angst on a 3000 foot downhill mountainbiking course in BC full with 30 foot gap jumps and a nice little terrain park near the bottom.. And beer, and women, and fighter jets (Well there is one good thing about school, elaborate daydreams.).
Couldn't fly saturday cause the vis was crappy and the ceiling must have been just 300 ft, and coudn't fly sunday for the same reaons. I am dying to fly. well I hope next weekend we get good weather.
lol i'm feeling really emo right now, I can see why they aren't a happy bunch. They need to start skanking.. It would do them some good cause finch and taking back sunday won't solve their problems. Lol i heard a while ago someone say LTJ wasn't ska.. i had a good laugh.. Just because they're well known someone says they aren't ska. It's amusing because with any other genre of music you can disown the band when it gets relatively mainstream. like when someone says blink 182 isn't punk they aren't completely wrong for reasons i won't go into but saying LTJ isn't ska is saying they don't have brass in their band and they don't use uplifting beats. Come on! Lol if you think they aren't, compare them to the Specials who are inarguably ska. same basic idea.. funky chord muting and a brass section. Lol next i'll hear someone say Led Zeppelin isn't classic rock.
